Work has barely started and above left we are looking towards the city and above right across to the gasometers, no pride park yet! both pictures taken from the bridge on Raynesway where it crosses the A52

Looking towards Spondon, the A52 is on the left, I'm probably standing where Sainsburys' is, you can see the houses on the Albert Road estate top left, and Raynesway bridge in the distance, the white building top right is the old car auction building that used to be at the top of Raynesway, and the tall chimney you can see is at the Celanese plant, which later became Courtalds and finally Acordis

This is the main bridge over the A52 that is being constructed here, the picture opposite shows the scale of the building against the construction workers silhouette

The two pictures above show Sainsbury's and opposite we have Texas (which is now Homebase), the picture bottom left is one of the remaining Railway buildings and is the home to a Fireplace company. The picture bottom right is taken from the pedestrian bridge looking at Toys R us being built
